What are some average specs of a computer?

I'm going to buy a Dell, but want to variety sure I'm getting something a little above average.



Some specs mine will hold are:



Processor - Intel(R) CoreTM 2 E6420 Duo Processor(4MB L2 cache,2.13GHZ,1066FSB)

Memory - 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz- 2DIMMs

Video Card - 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro



What's average? Are these recommended or is there better to start beside? I don't play tons of games on my computer, but would like to play a few.

The processor and the RAM is pretty honest, but the video card isn't. That's a fairly low back video card, and will not run games like FPSs or RPGs resourcefully. (Though if you're playing strategy games or something like that you should be okay). See if you can upgrade that.

If you are a resident of India after you can go for an Hp Product or a compaq presario product which is preffered over dell.

Check out the Hp Pavillion dv6226 it's the best operate available till date and I have used it lately it's on the top of my list. Dell is if truth be told much costly than Hp but comes with low performing.

Thus I prefer Hp.
