What is AMDs equivalent to Intel Core2 Duo processor. Rate the comparative presentation?

AMD have not yet come up beside an equivalent to the Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The Core 2 Duo uses re-processing technology such that though it is running at 1.x Ghz only, its activities is that of a 3.x Ghz or more processor.

AMD's 64 X2 processors are still running at the traditional technology and (therefore) rate of 3.x Ghz and above. AMDs current highest speed processors are those of the 64 X2 capacity of processors.

I've compared the best and fastest of both and run a speed test (WinBench, WinMark, etc) and found that the Intel is faster by relatively a bit (5-10%, depending upon the application). However, you are also paying more $$$ for the Intel so I guess you get what you payment for.
That would be the AMD Athlon 64 X2 processors.
they are two marks different from processors and desicion is yours chooses the one that but you similar to IT I prefer AMD
