The best time is usually right previously school starts. The back-to-school specials on computers are regularly the best. Also, just earlier Christmas seems to be pretty obedient as well.

Well, not only before Christmas, because they cost the most after, because people right to be heard that they are on sale, but they are the most expensive then. So, I'd influence, around December 26- December 30. Not too close to New Years, though!

At this point surrounded by time i would wait till xmas. Most computers will come beside directx 10 video cards becuase the cards will be cheaper then. More dx10 games will also be out purely before xmas.

In Australia around excise time (End of June) you can get authentic cheap ones, but i would still wait for xmas 2007.
