It should be a DX10 card. If you are more into HD videos than games, you can deal with w/ 8500GT ddr3. BUT if you are a gamer, 8600GT would be the minimum and 8800 Ultra the ultimate. The ATI DX10 cards consume more power and are better space heaters.
