What computer symptoms do I look for when a power surge happen? When do power surges start?

My computer will not turn on... The power go out this afternoon and my computer is the only piece in the house effect, besides all the clocks human being reset. My laptop still works, but it wasn't plugged in to the outlet. I also enjoy a plasma in matching room as the computer, but it is uneffected as well. Any planning?

If there is a surge, habitually after a power cut there is too much voltage for a short extent the main Power component on a PC CAN blow.



However, try simply unplugging from mains overnight, some own timed electronic fuses that shot the system down.



If same after this, could indicate a blown PSU, if this happens it CAN sometimes bear a motherboard with it



but for sure, take it to a shop for full analysis
turn past its sell-by date the power switch in the pay for or unplug it for 30 secs . and buy a ups to protect ur expensive stuff ...
Power surges can happen any time, adjectives the time. they are unpredictable. As long as you have a surge protector, though, it shouldn't effect anything. It's expected that this power issue fried your computer. If you simply can't get it to work, appointment customer service. Believe it or not, they are there to abet you.
Power supply probably became fried. This is a adjectives problem with computers not plugged into a surge protector. Just be lucky your laptop be not plugged in.
Push the reset button on your surge protector terminal strip.
