What does Best Buy (Geek Squad) do to optimize your Windows Vista Computer?

A couple friends of mine just now bought computers from Best Buy, for an additional cost, geek squad offer to optimize windows vista for you. What does geek squad do? Is it worth it? Can a personage with moral to excellent computer knowledge do it? gratefulness.

What does Best Buy (Geek Squad) do to optimize your Windows Vista Computer?

A person near medium computer skills could do what the Geek Squad does, hell to be honest if you know how to download and run a simple program or two you could do it. They essentially run a few programs, that anybody can download for free. Doing it on a brand new computer is beyond pointless anyway, it doesn't hold anything in here to slow it down yet, close to viruses, spyware, unwanted temp files etc. Save your money and invest it in a apt anti-spyware or anti-virus program.
Geek Squad is a joke, they focus more on hiring apposite salesmen and train them a little near computer, rather than hiring fitting computer people.

There are plenty of ways to tweak Vista for free, basically google for Vista Tweaks.
They change some of your settings to brand it faster. I did it myself with a program I bought online for $25. Auslogics Speedboost--it works great and is uncomplicated to use. Do a search and download it if you approaching.
Geek Squad is such a joke. I bought a program at Best Buy for $139.99 that not merely optimizes Vista, but also gives you control beyond the regular administrator settings Vista offer. Its called Vista Optimize. Its incredibly new, and not several people know give or take a few it yet. $140 bucks can nouns like deeply for a program, but I used this free gift card I get from here: http://www.timsfreestuff.com/63... So technically, it didnt cost me anything at all. I importantly reccomend giving it a try it.
