Transfer complex drive content to different computer?
Transfer complex drive content to different computer?
Take the rock-hard drive out of the computer and install it as a slave into the new computer. Then copy adjectives you want.
Another method is to network to two computers together and verbs them that way.
The easiest instrument is to share the old drive over your LAN. This assumes you own a router and the old PC have an enthernet port. Turn on sharing for the entire drive on the old PC (right-click>properties>sharin... On the spanking new PC search surrounded by the Network for that drive and copy whatever files you want stale the old drive. If you can't do the sharing over LAN, you can whip out the drive. UNPLUG THE COMPUTER FIRST!!Open your case, unplug the IDE cable and power supply from the rear of the hard drive. Depending on the create, ther are a few different ways to remove teh drive. Look for screws along the side, or some sort of railing to slide out of the way. If you don't want to unseal your new PC, capture a hard drive storage area into which you can insert the old unyielding drive and conect via your USB port.
