sooner or later i am just on the lattice and my avg anti virus detected
a trojan horse and it said would you like to delete or quarantine it the point is i was away from my computer for
20 mins up to that time i did any action once avg detects the trojan and asks what i want it to do, does it autimatically stop the trojan horse from doing anything malacious?
prolly get it from p2p
Trojan horse and avg?
yes it will stop it from doing something malicious automatically,i would quarantine it,after in avg i would click the folder and see if it is OK to delete it if the file isn't needed most of the time it isn't needed,i freshly delete mine,Trojan gone.
It should stop it, but first you should quarantine it, then delete it. And simply to be safe, download CA Anti-Virus Free Trial - from www.ca.com That passageway if the AVG doesnt delete it, CA will for sure.
First, I doubt it would do anything before you told it what you want it to do, so for that twenty minutes, the trojan be probably running.
Second, anti-virus programs never actually stop trojans horses from doing anything wicked. They remove them from the disk, perhaps stop them from running altogether, but they never keep under surveillance what they're doing and prevent some things while permitting others.
