Vista Audio Problem?

I a moment ago installed vista on my computer, and got everything working except the nouns. It says no audio output device installed, It be working fine 2 hours ago when I had Windows XP. but in a minute it doesn't work. My speakers didn't come with a disk or anything.so how can I bring back audio to work?

Vista Audio Problem?

Did you install your sound driver?

Doesn't issue it is for xp/2000.

I had this experience. Many times I upgrade my nouns driver for VISTA but it doesn't work.

I'll tell you what I did.

1. upgrate adjectives available Vista's. This will solve no audio output device installed problem.

2. restart your pc.

3. uninstall your sund driver within Device Manager.

4. restart your pc again.

5. Windows ask for strange hardware found and install driver.

6. put the driver cd in drive (i put mother board's drivers cd for 2000/xp).

7. Windows will install it automatically. But when you overt the Control Panel, pop up said that you installed improper nouns driver or bla bla., just deselect not to show again.

Check your device checker to confirm your driver already installed.

8. Restart your pc. Sound is successfully coming up.

My nouns driver is AC97 Windows XP.

Hopefully, you can get it.

Good luck.
