Upgrading to high-ish shutting notebook beside low bring to a close motherboard...?

This may be a bit of a broad examine, I'm not sure.. I am wondering how much it will effect my computer having a poor motherboard near a good graphics card, virtuous processor, and a good amount of RAM. Will it hold posterior my system? (I am wondering because I am thinking about upgrading my mid to low length Compaq [not all at one time], but would prefer to not upgrade the motherboard.)

Advice/Opinions are significantly welcomed.

you may want to chech and see if your motherboard have a high satisfactory fsb to run the cpu you plan to upgrade to. Also you may want a bigger power supply if you upgrade video cards, you probably have close to a 250-350 watt power supply but I would suggest getting like a 450 watt power supply. email me at kingsnake317@yahoo.com or jump to overclock.net and register for their forums, they'll serve ya
